As the days get longer and the sun shines a little brighter, it's the perfect time to refresh your plant care routine. Spring is when houseplants wake up from their winter rest - and just like us, they’re ready to grow! Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or just starting out, these easy spring plant care tips will help keep your indoor plants happy, healthy, and full of new life this season.
Step 1: Rotate your plants
As the sun shifts with the changing season, some of your indoor plants may need a new spot in your home! Pay attention to where the sun is moving and adjust your plant placement to ensure they're getting the right amount of light. Rotating your plants also helps them grow evenly and keeps them from leaning too much in one direction.

Step 2. Repot your plants
Spring is an ideal time to repot houseplants that have outgrown their containers. If you notice roots circling the bottom or soil drying out quickly, it may be time to size up. A good rule of thumb: move a 6" plant into an 8" pot to give it room to grow. Pro tip - reuse the empty pot by checking your collection for a smaller 4" plant that’s ready for a new home!

Step 3. Give your plants a bath
Spring cleaning is also for plants! Put all your plants in the bathtub, plug the drain, and gently rinse the dust off their leaves while letting them get a really good drink of water! Just remember to remove excess soil or debris from the tub before draining to prevent any clogs.

Propagate Broken Branches
If a leaf or branch breaks off during your spring plant care routine, don’t worry - you can use it to grow a brand new plant! Simply place the healthy cutting in a small container of water, wait for roots to develop, and then transfer it to soil. It’s an easy and rewarding way to expand your plant collection.
