The Curly Croton is a bold, colorful houseplant with twisted, corkscrew-curled leaves splashed in red, orange, yellow, and deep green. No two leaves look quite the same, and the color deepens with good light. It arrives in a white pot, ready to set in a bright spot where it can show off.

Crotons love light, and the more they get, the brighter their colors. Give it a sunny window with bright light, keep the soil lightly moist, and it will reward you with year-round color. It’s a good choice for someone who wants a plant with real personality, and its warm palette makes it a natural fit for fall.

Why it makes a good gift

• Curly, multicolored leaves in red, orange, yellow, and green

• Year-round color without relying on flowers

• A striking accent plant for a sunny room or office

• Works for housewarmings, birthdays, thank-yous, and fall gifting

Care at a glance

• Light: Bright light; a sunny window keeps colors vivid

• Water: When the top inch of soil is dry; keep lightly moist, not soggy
